
After
a complete renovation in 1999, the 4-star Hotel Cornavin with 164
rooms is one of the newest hotels in Geneva. The hotel is centrally
located just across the street of the railway station and within
minutes of all major attractions. The facilities at the Hotel Cornavin
include the panorama breakfast room on the top floor with great
views over the city, Lake Geneva and the Alps, and the spacious
hotel lobby with an Internet corner. An interesting accessory worth
mentioning is the world's largest mechanical clock with its 30-meter
hand, which is hanging in the hotels light well (listed in the Guinness
Book of Records).

of Double Standard Room

The
rooms at the Hotel Cornavin are modern and decorated with cherry-wood
furnishings and newest the technical equipment. All rooms are without
balconies facing the streets or the railway tracks with the upper-floor
rooms providing great views of the city and Lake Geneva with is
famous fountain. The bathrooms are spacious and luminous and include
bathtub including shower and hair-dryer. All rooms have cable TV,
radio, direct dial-in/dial-out phone, Internet connection, mini-bar,
safe and individually controlled air conditioning. They are equipped
with 2 Twin Beds (separated or pushed together) and some rooms with
queen-size beds are also available. Smoking / non-smoking rooms
available on request.

By public transportation:
Exiting Geneva Railway Station towards the Lake the Hotel Cornavin
is at your right just across the street (you can get there also
via the underground passage).
By car:
Exit the motorway at "Geneva - Lake" and follow signs
to center & railway station (following the "Rue de Lausanne"
street); stopping and unloading the car in front of the hotel
is permitted (ask at the front desk for directions to parking).
