Description of Double Standard Room
The rooms at the Hotel Sunstar have recently been renovated and are decorated with elegant, antique furniture and modern carpets and curtains. The Standard Rooms are facing North with a view of the "Männlichen" mountain and the village of Wengen (no balcony). The bathroom has a bathtub including shower and a hair-dryer. All rooms are equipped with cable TV, radio, direct dial-out phone, mini-bar and safe. Rooms feature 2 Twin Beds (pushed together). Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available (request at time of booking).

By public transportation:
Take train from Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen, then change train ("Wengeneralp-Bahn") for Wengen (approx. 15 minutes); call the hotel for free pick-up (or even better, let the hotel know your arrival time beforehand, and the shuttle will be there upon your arrival). If walking (less than five minutes), walk to your left in front of the railway station along main street, and you will find the Hotel Sunstar on your left side.
By car:
Drive from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen and park your car in the large Parking Garage at Lauterbrunnen Railway Station. Wengen is a car-free resort ! Therefore, take the train ("Wengeneralp-Bahn") to Wengen (approx. 15 minutes); call the hotel for free pick-up (or even better, let the hotel know your arrival time beforehand, and the shuttle will be there upon your arrival).
